The Micro Gravi-Gators are flying on NASA's C-9B reduced gravity aircraft as part of the Grant Us Space research fellowship partnered with NASA's Reduced Gravity Education Flight Program.
Purpose
Cryogenic fluids are utilized in the thermal management, power, propulsion, and life support systems of spacecraft. The transport of such fluids requires the system to be initially chilled down. The objectives for this experiment are to compare the chill down rates and flow patterns between Earth and microgravity conditions.
